Clarke Quay 20
Venue: Clarke Quay
Date: Sunday 25th May 2008
Time: 8:00am – 3:00pmThis event will be held in conjunction with the 20th Anniversary of the Singapore River Raft Race (SRRR) on
25 May 2008 (Sun) which is organised annually by the Singapore Polytechnic.
There are three categories under the Clarke Quay 20 event, viz., (1) Individual Male & Female; (2) Team; and (3) Treasure Hunt.
1. Individual Male & Female (20 mins Individual Run)Each individual participant is to run under 20 minutes for a pre-determined distance (Male and Female about 5 km & 4 km respectively) around Clarke Quay.
2. Team (20 pass-over Relay)Each group comprises of 5 runners (minimum of 2 females) to relay run a total of 4 rounds (each round is approximately 1.5km) around Clarke Quay.
3. Treasure HuntIn a group of 2 – 5 members to hunt for 20 “treasures” around Clarke Quay areas.
To take part in the Clarke Quay 20, a registration form needs to be submitted with a small fee of $6 for each runner/ group member. Payment can be via cheque or cash payment at the office of the School of Chemical & Life Sciences. Funds raised from the Clarke Quay 20 will benefit various charity organisations such as the Tanglin School (Association for Persons with Special Needs), Society for Aged Sick & Clementi Student Service Centre.
